== Civil Disobedience ==
I added the 2015 incident where Free Staters chased government regulators away from PorcFest. I don't think every act of civil disobedience is worthy of this page, but it would be good to add some of more significant incidents. Here are some guidelines I was thinking:
* '''Civil disobedience was significant''' -- notable enforcement was prevented, government action was stopped/reversed, etc
* '''Liberty folks actually win''' -- if the incident just ends with everyone getting arrested, then it's not a "win" and shouldn't be listed
* Events that '''demonstrate the ability of Free Staters to organize and take action''' -- the FSP isn't just a bunch of clubhouses and a caucus in the state House; FSP led civil disobedience is an important component to "liberty in our lifetime"
Wasn't there a bunch of protesting at the governor's house about COVID-19 restrictions? I think that would be worth including as "liberty win"

guidelines on this

Here's some "common sense" guidelines for this

# It should actually be a win for liberty. I grant myself magic super-powers for determining this
# It should actually be passed, if it's a bill and it's passed by the house, that doesn't matter. It needs to either be signed or otherwise take effect. We can add stuff that passes the house, but if it is vetoed we should remove it, so maybe wait for something to be signed first before putting it on here. Don't count your chickens until they hatch.
# If two cool things happen on the same day, put the cooler thing higher on the list.
# If you know about it and don't know how to put it in here or are scared of wiki formatting or something, just message me with it and give me all the details you can

Civil Disobedience

I added the 2015 incident where Free Staters chased government regulators away from PorcFest. I don't think every act of civil disobedience is worthy of this page, but it would be good to add some of more significant incidents. Here are some guidelines I was thinking:

  • Civil disobedience was significant -- notable enforcement was prevented, government action was stopped/reversed, etc
  • Liberty folks actually win -- if the incident just ends with everyone getting arrested, then it's not a "win" and shouldn't be listed
  • Events that demonstrate the ability of Free Staters to organize and take action -- the FSP isn't just a bunch of clubhouses and a caucus in the state House; FSP led civil disobedience is an important component to "liberty in our lifetime"

Wasn't there a bunch of protesting at the governor's house about COVID-19 restrictions? I think that would be worth including as "liberty win"
